Sunlight pierces the water in angled beams, illuminating a seal gliding horizontally through a dense meadow of long, swaying seagrass blades. The animal's sleek grey fur contrasts with the vibrant green stalks that sway in the current. Tiny plankton particles float in the water, creating a soft haze that gradually obscures the background layers. The first light of dawn casts a cool blue tone over the foreground while warmer gold highlights the upper surface of the grass. Depth recedes in clear layers, showing the seagrass channel extending toward the distant coast. One strand of grass bends gently against the seal's flank, marking the precise point of contact between the animal and the vegetation.
