The water surface shimmers with dry, crisp reflections typical of late autumn, while submerged blades of green seagrass sway gently around the pup's sleek, dark fur. Rocky cove edges frame the shallow depth of field, blurring the distant coastline into a soft, hazy silhouette. The pup's wet coat glistens under the clear mountain light, creating a stark contrast against the muted turquoise water. Tiny ripples spread from its paddling flippers, disturbing the stillness of the channel. One strand of seagrass bends slightly under the current near the pup's nose.
