Golden hour firelight falls through exceptionally clear water, illuminating a seal gliding beside a tide-cut rock ledge in Greece. The animal moves through a distinct thermocline where cobalt depths meet surface warmth, creating a visible gradient of color. Slow-moving ripples distort the light above, casting shifting patterns across the seal's wet fur and the rough stone surface below. The water clarity reveals the texture of the submerged rock and the sleek contours of the creature. Sunlight penetrates deep into the blue expanse, highlighting the seal's form against the darker underwater background. A beam of amber light catches the edge of the seal's flipper as it pushes forward through the calm current.
