Sea Pens Swaying Over Japanese Seagrass Meadow

Soft, diffused light penetrates exceptionally clear water to illuminate a dense colony of sea pens anchored in the deep current. These feathery organisms sway in unison, their translucent pink and amber tissues glowing against the muted blue-green backdrop. Below, a vast seagrass meadow stretches across the sandy ocean floor, its blades gently undulating in the slow-moving flow. The water surface creates faint, shimmering ripples visible from above, breaking the light into shifting patterns on the seabed. Layers of depth recede into the distance where the colony thins out, fading into the quiet blue haze. Tiny suspended particles drift lazily between the pen stalks, catching the light like scattered dust. At the edge, a single sea pen tip bends slightly under the current's gentle pull.
