Grey Heron Stillness Moon Reflection Reed Bed
Bright midday sun illuminates a shallow pond edge where a grey heron stands motionless in tall, green reeds. The bird's long neck curves slightly as it gazes into the water, its reflection distorted by gentle ripples. A pale, circular moon hangs high in the clear sky, mirrored perfectly in the dark, still surface of the pond. Low-lying ground fog pools in the shallow depressions around the reed roots, creating a soft white haze that contrasts with the sharp, vibrant green of the wet grass. The water reflects the intense blue of the sky and the white of the moon simultaneously. The heron's grey feathers show fine texture against the blurred, damp vegetation at the water's edge. A small ripple breaks the moon's reflection near the bird's legs.
