Silhouetted Flying Fish Gliding Over Portuguese Kelp

Blue water fills the frame, illuminated by shafts of sunlight piercing from above. A flying fish cuts through the surface, its body rendered as a dark silhouette against the bright, shimmering light. The creature hovers just above the crests of small waves, wings extended in a horizontal glide. Below the surface, a dense kelp forest sways along the rocky shelf, its long fronds creating vertical lines of deep green and brown. Tiny suspended particles glitter within the water column, catching the light and adding texture to the blue depth. The late morning sun casts a cool, clear tone over the scene, highlighting the translucence of the water and the smooth, aerodynamic curve of the fish. In the foreground, a single frond of kelp bends slightly, its tip touching the water's surface where the fish has just launched.
