Beluga Whale Bubble Rings Kerala Dawn

Cold silver dawn light penetrates shallow coastal waters along a kelp-fringed shelf in Kerala, illuminating a beluga whale suspended in the blue stillness. The white skin of the whale contrasts sharply with the deepening ocean hues as it exhales a series of perfect bubble rings that drift upward. Suspended particles glitter in the water column, catching the first light of the dry season morning. Layers of depth recede into the distance where kelp fronds sway gently near the surface. The water remains remarkably clear, allowing visibility of the whale's smooth contours and the expanding circles of air bubbles rising toward the light.
