Hard coastal glare slices through the surface of exceptionally clear turquoise water, illuminating a white sand cay anchored beneath a dark reef ledge. Fine grains of sand shift slowly in the gentle current, catching bright highlights that dance across the seabed. Above, the water's surface ripples with slow, rhythmic motion, fracturing the sunlight into shifting patterns of light and shadow. The reef structure casts a deep, cool shadow that contrasts sharply with the sunlit shallows. A cluster of coral formations rests against the rocky base, their rough textures visible through the transparent medium. The white sand bank rises gently toward the waterline, creating a stark boundary between the submerged earth and the open sea.
