Abandoned Terminal Corridor Near Almaty at Twilight

Vine-choked walls line a long, decaying corridor inside an abandoned airport terminal near Almaty, where early winter fog pools thick across the cracked concrete floor. Faded departure boards hang motionless above, their empty frames catching the faint, reflected glow of distant city lights. The air is heavy with moisture, turning the damp surfaces into mirrors that blur the receding layers of depth. Rust streaks run vertically down peeling paint, while tangled ivy drapes over broken windows like heavy curtains. Low-angle light from the urban horizon spills across wet puddles, illuminating floating dust and the texture of rotting wood. One crack in the floor reveals a dark seam where water has pooled, reflecting the distant amber glow of the city beyond.
