Abandoned Hotel Corridor in Nagaland in along a ward corridor with broken glass and falling plaster in Nagaland

Abandoned Hotel Corridor in Nagaland

by Faith Pace

Gray daylight floods the ward corridor through a north-facing window, casting a flat glare across peeling plaster and shattered glass. Tattered posters rest on the rough walls, their paper edges curling against the hard, textured surfaces. Dust settles on the floor where fallen debris mixes with broken panes. The corridor stretches deep into the distance, creating layers of shadow and light that emphasize the depth of the space. Soft reflections shimmer on the remaining intact tiles near the window. Early summer light highlights the resilience of decay, where every surface tells a story of neglect. at the edge is a jagged shard of glass catching the sun's edge.
