Blue twilight washes the weathered wooden facade of a derelict yacht club perched on the far shore of a remote Inner Mongolian lake. Empty glass trophy cases line the interior, their panes cracked and reflecting the low-hanging gray clouds. Autumn leaves in rust and ochre rest on the peeling paint, while the calm water below mirrors the structure perfectly. The scene is lit only by the fading ambient glow bouncing off the lake surface. A shattered pane of glass rests on the wet dock, catching the faint blue light.
