Rotting timber beams pierce the dark water where black marsh reeds cluster thickly around the foundation. Late autumn light falls through sparse, brown leaves, casting shifting patches of gold on the wet, gray planks. The structure leans heavily, its roof sagging under the weight of time and dampness. Moss rests on the lower stones, turning them a deep emerald against the decaying wood. A low angle view emphasizes the ruin's height above the waterline, making it loom over the stagnant reeds. Water droplets bead on the rough bark of a nearby branch, reflecting the pale sky before sliding down into the mud below.
