Pale morning light pierces the cool blue water, illuminating the sleek, metallic flank of a sailfish. Its tall dorsal fin stands erect like a dark sail against the shimmering backdrop. Tiny plankton particles float in the water, creating a soft haze that blurs the distant kelp fronds along the shelf. Sunlight reflects off the fish's smooth scales, highlighting the subtle gradient from deep indigo on its back to silver on its belly. The water is still, with only faint ripples disturbing the surface above. One strand of green kelp drifts past the fish's snout, caught in the gentle current. The fin's edge glows with a faint orange tint from the rising sun.
