Saiga Herd on Dalmatian Floodplain Twilight
Cool blue twilight washes over a flooded steppe where a herd of saiga antelope stands in the shallow water. Their bulbous noses are distinct against the low, gray fog pooling in the depressions of the wet ground. The early autumn light offers no warmth, only a flat, diffused glow that softens the edges of the distant Dalmatian coastline. Water ripples gently around their hooves, reflecting the pale sky above. The animals cluster tightly, their beige coats muted by the evening dampness. Mist rests on the low grass, obscuring the horizon line where the land meets the sea. at the edge is the reflection of a single antelope's dark eye in a puddle at the foreground edge.
