Dik-dik Pair in Colombian Tidal Dawn Fog

Deep shadow swallows the scrubland floor where two dik-diks stand motionless beside a tidal inlet. Pale morning light outlines their silhouettes, creating a sharp rim of silver against their dark fur. Their enormous eyes reflect the dim, gray sky above the pooling ground fog. Mist rests on the low vegetation, obscuring the water's edge while the animals remain frozen in patient stillness. The wet earth glistens with recent monsoon rain, and the heavy air seems to press down on the small forms. One droplet of water hangs from a nearby leaf, trembling slightly before falling onto the damp ground. The scene shows the quiet tension of the early dawn in a tropical coastal environment.
