Fishing Cat Wading Marsh Before Dawn

Mist rests on the low marsh grasses beside a tidal inlet near Kfar Saba as a fishing cat steps through shallow water. The animal moves from a rear perspective, its wet fur matted in shades of grey and brown against the pale, diffused dawn light. A small silver fish hangs firmly from its jaws, glistening with moisture. Sea spray hangs suspended in the cool air, catching the faint morning glow. The water surface ripples gently around the cat's paws, reflecting the soft grey sky. Late autumn grasses stand tall and dry along the bank, their tips brown and brittle. The cat's posture remains still and focused, muscles tensed beneath the damp coat. One droplet slides from the fish's tail onto the dark, wet mud.
