Zebra Herd Crossing River at Dawn

Cold silver dawn light washes over a wind-scoured ridge near Salvador, illuminating a herd of zebras mid-crossing. The animals move with synchronized alertness, their black-and-white stripes stark against the pale, dry grass. Water ripples around their hooves, reflecting the clear sky above. Dust hangs low near the ground, disturbed by their movement. The perspective is low, showing the height of the zebras and the texture of the wet riverbed. Shadows stretch long and sharp across the terrain, highlighting the tension in their posture. One hoof breaks the surface of the water, sending a small splash into the air.
