Cool morning light reflects off a shallow puddle to illuminate a roofless hammam structure where knee-deep nettles sway in a light drizzle. The stone walls of the forsaken chapel yard rise steeply from the wet ground, their surfaces slick with moisture and darkened by age. Thick fog rests on the upper arches, obscuring the sky while the low angle view emphasizes the towering, crumbling masonry against the gray backdrop. Moss rests on the damp stones, and the green nettles dominate the foreground, their sharp leaves glistening under the diffused light. Water droplets bead on the rough textures of the ancient walls, highlighting the quiet, haunted stillness of the cool season ruin.
