Crumbling Hacienda Courtyard Dry Fountain in among toppled columns and nettles near Hurghada

Crumbling Hacienda Courtyard Dry Fountain

by Charlie Malone

Golden hour light bathes a weathered hacienda courtyard where stone has surrendered to time. A dry fountain basin, choked by thick green vines, sits at the center of the ruin. Toppled columns lie scattered across the cracked flagstones, their surfaces rough with age and dust. Nettles grow in clusters between the broken masonry, their sharp leaves catching the warm, low-angle sun. A light fog drifts through the open space, softening the edges of the crumbling walls and creating a hazy depth. The scene is framed by the dark, textured archway of a broken doorway in the foreground. One vine tendril curls around a jagged piece of fallen limestone, marking the slow reclamation of the structure.
