Fading Animal Nursery Ruin in Kentucky Grass

Honeyed evening light falls through a broken roof, illuminating a nursery room where wallpaper peels to reveal faded illustrations of bears and rabbits. Tall Kentucky grasses surge through the shattered floorboards, their green blades reaching toward the crumbling plaster walls. The scene sits within a courtyard where nature slowly reclaims the structure. A brief sun shower glistens on the wet wood and damp paper, casting the room into a soft silhouette against the bright sky. Water droplets rest on the edges of torn fabric, while shadows stretch long across the debris-strewn floor. The wallpaper patterns, once vibrant, now appear ghostly and washed out in the dimming glow.
