Rich amber sunset light falls through broken glass panes into a humid greenhouse aisle in Chengdu, illuminating overgrown fig vines and tall nettles. Weathered metal supports rust beside deep green foliage that has reclaimed the space. The wet concrete floor holds muted reflections of tangled branches above. Early winter leaves lie scattered across the slick surface, marking the season. Layers of depth recede into the shadowed distance where more vines twist around collapsed frames. A jagged shard of glass on the ground catches the final glow of the day.
