Dragonfly Eye Facets Golden Hour Silhouette

Amber light from the setting sun illuminates the intricate, hexagonal facets of a dragonfly's compound eye. The insect sits perched on a dry reed stem, its head turned sharply toward the horizon. Heat haze shimmers above the water, distorting the background into soft, vertical bands of blurred reeds and distant sky. The dragonfly's body appears as a dark, alert silhouette against the bright, fading glow. Fine hairs along the thorax catch the edge of the light, creating a thin, glowing rim. The texture of the eye is rough and geometric, reflecting the warm sky. One facet mirrors the orange sky, while the rest of the head remains in deep shadow. The reed stem curves slightly under the weight of the insect, bending toward the ground.
