Squirrel Burying Acorns Sunset El Tigre

Rich amber light spills across a damp tidal inlet bank near El Tigre, illuminating a red squirrel mid-action. The animal presses a dark, textured acorn into wet, dark earth beside a shallow pool reflecting the clearing sky. Rain-slicked leaves cluster along the edge, their green muted by the cool season air. Fine droplets rest on the squirrel's fur, catching the low sun like scattered gold dust. Behind the creature, the water stretches calmly toward a distant horizon where storm clouds break into patches of blue. The squirrel's front paws dig into the soft mud, displacing small pebbles and roots. One acorn lies half-buried in the foreground, its cap still intact against the glistening soil. The scene ends with the sharp contrast between the animal's reddish coat and the grey, waterlogged ground.
