Quokka on Sandy Path Amidst Rainy Season Fog

Soft, diffused light falls through a heavy canopy, illuminating a small quokka standing on a pale sandy path. Low-lying ground fog pools in the depressions of the earth, creating a white mist that obscures the base of nearby trees. The animal’s fur appears dense and slightly damp, reflecting the moisture of the rainy season. A thick branch arches overhead, forming a natural frame that isolates the subject against the blurred green backdrop. The sand grains are distinct and scattered with small pebbles. The quokka stands alert, its dark eyes catching the flat light. A wet leaf rests on the path edge, its surface slick with condensation.
