Silvery winter light falls through clear water, illuminating a heavy anchor chain resting on the sandy sea floor beside a dark reef crevice. Thick rust and encrusting coral textures cover the metal links, marking years of submersion. Fine plankton haze drifts through the water column, softening the background and showing suspended depth. The scene exists under a deep night sky, with the faint glow of moonlight reflecting off the water's surface far above. Small marine organisms rest on the chain, against the smooth, dark rocks of the crevice. One shadow stretches across the sand from the nearest link.
