Hard coastal glare penetrates the tropical shallows, illuminating a rectangular metal frame anchored beneath a dark reef ledge near Stone Town. Bright orange and pale pink coral fragments are tightly strapped to the horizontal bars with white ties. Fine plankton haze softens the distant background, creating a luminous, submerged mystery where light rays fracture through the water. The frame sits on sandy bottom scattered with small pebbles. Green algae rests on the lower edges of the metal structure. One shadow falls across the coral fragments, highlighting the texture of the living rock against the smooth, rigid steel.
