Frozen Lightning Over Submerged Sinkhole Reef

Coral walls rise steeply from the dark floor of a submerged sinkhole, their rough textures rendered in sharp relief against the deep blue water. Sunlight penetrates the surface, casting a shifting grid of glittering caustics across the sandy bottom and the porous rock. Above the waterline, the sky remains a clear, pale blue typical of the dry season afternoon. A jagged bolt of lightning freezes mid-strike, its branching white veins stark against the natural light, illuminating the water's surface ripples without thunder. The impossible electrical discharge casts a faint, electric glow on the nearby coral heads. The water remains exceptionally clear, allowing a direct view from the reef floor to the frozen storm above.
