Hard coastal glare illuminates a white observatory dome perched atop a hill covered in frost-silvered sagebrush. The sky remains a clear, pale blue despite a light drizzle that coats the metal surfaces with tiny, glistening droplets. A massive blue whale swims through the air directly above the dome, its dark skin contrasting sharply with the bright sky. The whale casts a distinct, dark shadow that stretches across the frosty vegetation below, aligning perfectly with the symmetrical architecture of the dome. The early spring light catches the wet sheen on the sagebrush, highlighting the texture of the frost against the wet metal. The shadow of the whale falls precisely over the center of the dome's vent, at the base of the impossible creature in the physical landscape.
