Sea Fan Bending in Blue Hour Current Near Cebu

Deep indigo water fills the frame, illuminated by a faint rim of residual light tracing the upper edge of a sea fan coral. The organism bends sharply to the right, its delicate, flat branches compressed by a strong underwater current flowing along a textured reef wall. Shadows swallow the lower half of the coral structure, while the water beyond remains exceptionally clear, revealing faint, slow-moving ripples on the distant surface. The coral surface appears smooth yet porous, against the rough, encrusted stone of the vertical wall behind it. A thin line of pale blue light separates the dark silhouette of the fan from the deeper abyss, showing the tension between the rigid reef and the fluid motion of the sea.
