Behind the creature, deep blue water stretches into the distance, softened by a haze of suspended plankton particles that glow faintly in the dusky underwater light. The scene is anchored by the wet season's clarity, where fine sediment floats like static snow in the stillness. Light filters gently through the water column, casting a muted glow on the fish's spiny fins and the jagged edges of the reef. Tiny bubbles drift upward near the coral crevices, while the frogfish remains perfectly still against the textured backdrop. The water's surface ripples faintly above, visible as a shimmering boundary between the deep blue and the fading evening sky.
