Silhouetted Hippo Yawn Sunset Glacial Stream

Dark water ripples around a massive hippopotamus emerging from a glacial stream, its mouth wide open in a yawn. The setting sun behind the animal creates a sharp silhouette against the glowing orange sky. Thin fog drifts low over the wet season water, softening the distant tree line. A thick branch in the foreground frames the left side of the view, adding depth to the composition. The hippo's wet skin glistens faintly in the backlight while its teeth stand out as bright white shapes against the dark interior of its mouth. Alert tension hangs in the still air as the animal pauses mid-yawn, surrounded by the cool, gray tones of the stream and the warm hues of the fading light.
