Rainbow Light Shaft on Cebu Reef Wall

Hard midday sunlight pierces the exceptionally clear turquoise water, fracturing into distinct rainbow shafts that fan across a textured coral wall. The refracted spectrum paints bands of violet, blue, green, and orange against the rough, porous surface of the reef. Beyond the immediate wall, the water deepens into a solid, cool blue void, undisturbed except for slow, rhythmic surface ripples visible at the top edge. The tight framing isolates the interaction between the light and the stone, highlighting the sharp contrast between the bright, shifting colors and the shadowed crevices of the coral. A jagged edge of orange sponge catches a concentrated beam of light, glowing with intense saturation against the darker rock.
