Rich amber sunset light falls through the tropical shallows near Cairns, illuminating a vibrant orange clownfish with distinct white bands hovering close to its host anemone. The creature’s fins flare slightly as it guards the pulsating tentacles beneath a dark reef ledge. Suspended particles glitter in the water column, creating a shimmering haze that softens the background layers. The anemone’s tentacles sway gently in the wet season current, their translucent tips catching the fading sun. Deep blue shadows pool under the rock overhang, against the warm glow above. A faint reflection of the clownfish ripples across a nearby coral surface, anchoring the moment in the underwater stillness.
