Scarlet Macaws on Clay Lick Evening Tamil Nadu

Deep crimson and electric blue feathers define two scarlet macaws perched on a rough, grey clay bank. The dry season leaves the surrounding earth parched and dusty, while a thin layer of mist softens the background foliage. Reflected light from a nearby water body washes over the birds, turning their wing tips into glowing embers against the encroaching blue twilight. Their heads turn sharply, eyes fixed on an unseen point, creating a moment of frozen alertness. The clay surface beneath their talons shows deep cracks from the heat, against the smooth, vibrant plumage. One shadow stretches long across the damp soil, anchoring the pair in the fading light.
