Ruined Greenhouse Nave First Light Overcast

Soft overcast light falls through the shattered roof of a collapsed greenhouse nave near Essen, illuminating a carpet of blown petals and scattered broken glass. Iron ribs, now heavy with creeping ivy, arch toward a ceiling of broken plaster that has crumbled onto the floor below. Polished surfaces on remaining structural fragments catch small, sharp highlights against the matte green of the encroaching vines. A frame-within-a-frame element formed by a jagged window opening in the foreground directs the view toward the depth of the ruined interior. The scene presents resilient decay where nature reclaims industrial geometry. Dust settles on the wet glass shards, reflecting the pale sky above.
