Pale morning light falls through the skeletal iron ribs of a collapsed station canopy near Graz, illuminating dust motes suspended in the damp air. Missing glass panels reveal the soft haze of the horizon where the low sun strikes, casting long, cool shadows across the stone cloisters. Faded timetables, their paper surfaces fused and peeling from moisture, rest on the rough brick walls beside the structure. The ground is scattered with broken masonry and fallen debris, creating a texture of decay that contrasts with the smooth, milky sky above. Leading lines of the remaining iron framework guide the gaze toward the distant, glowing horizon. One shard of glass lies embedded in the wet gravel at the edge of the frame.
