Ruined Greenhouse Nave Cúcuta Petals Glass in inside a stair hall open to the weather in Cúcuta

Ruined Greenhouse Nave Cúcuta Petals Glass

by Jo Rivas

Broken glass shards litter the floor of a collapsed greenhouse nave in Cúcuta, catching bright midmorning light from a north-facing window. Iron ribs curve overhead, half-swallowed by thick ivy that climbs the stair hall walls. Fallen petals in muted pinks and whites scatter across the dust, resting against jagged metal edges. The light falls sharply across the debris, highlighting the texture of rotting wood and the sharpness of the glass. Ivy leaves drape heavily from the upper arches, framing the broken structure below. One piece of clear glass reflects the sky through a gap in the roof, resting on a pile of dried stems.
