Glowing Fire Coral Amber Reef Crest Blue Hour

Steel-blue ambient light washes over the volcanic reef overhang near Cairns during the wet season twilight. Clusters of fire coral glow with intense amber tones along the reef crest, standing out sharply against the cooling water. Suspended particles glitter throughout the water column, catching the fading natural light and creating a field of fine, moving sparks. The low angle view emphasizes the texture of the coral branches rising from the dark rock base. Tiny bits of organic matter drift past the glowing structures, highlighting the clarity of the wet season sea. A sharp edge of amber coral reflects against the deep blue shadow of the overhang above.
