Blue Hour Reef Waves Break Over Volcanic Edge

Deep indigo water fills the frame as waves crest and shatter against a jagged volcanic reef overhang near Cairns. The surface ripples with white foam that glows faintly against the dark stone. Distant town lights stretch across the horizon, casting a soft amber haze that bleeds into the twilight sky. Fine suspended particles glitter throughout the water column, catching the residual light like scattered diamonds. The reef structure rises from the depths, its rough basalt texture defined by the fading illumination. Bubbles from the breaking surf drift upward, suspended in the cool, still water. One bubble rests on the underside of a rock ledge.
