Coral formations in shades of brown, rust, and muted green rise from the dark rock base, their textures sharp against the fluid backdrop. Slow-moving surface ripples distort the light slightly, casting shifting patterns of brightness across the seabed. Tiny suspended particles catch the illumination, adding depth to the water column. The perspective from behind the reef emphasizes the verticality of the coral branches against the fading sky.
