Layered Giant Table Corals Near Volcanic Reef

Sunlight fractures into shimmering caustic patterns across the water column, illuminating a vibrant coral garden beside a dark volcanic reef overhang. Giant table corals rise in distinct, layered tiers, their broad flat tops displaying rough, porous textures in shades of burnt orange and muted green. Suspended particles glitter like microscopic stars throughout the clear tropical water, showing suspended stillness. The shallow depth of field softens the distant rock face while keeping the foreground coral structures sharp. Shadows cast by the overhang fall across the seabed, against the bright midmorning illumination. The water holds a cool, otherworldly blue hue that deepens toward the background. One coral polyp extends slightly from the edge of a central table, catching a beam of refracted light.
