Fur Seal Pup on Australian Beach Before Dusk

Copper-toned light spills over a rugged Australian coastline where a fur seal pup rests on dark volcanic rocks. The pup faces away, its wet, dark fur glistening with moisture against the deepening twilight. Below, the cold-water reef edge drops into shadow, yet suspended particles glitter in the water column like scattered diamond dust. A soft horizon glow wraps the upper frame, casting a warm rim along the animal's spine. The water surface shimmers with tiny, chaotic reflections of the fading sky. Tiny droplets rest on the fur, catching the last light of late autumn. The scene ends with a single, bright speck of suspended sediment floating just above the rock's jagged edge.
