Frozen Water Splash Above Kerman Bridge Pier

Steel grating forms a dark grid overhead, casting sharp rectangular shadows onto the suspended maintenance cradle below. The structure hangs in deep silhouette against the fading blue evening sky, its metal edges defined by the last light. Below, green tidal water churns near the massive concrete pier. One splash of water has frozen mid-air, each droplet sharply defined and suspended like glass beads against the dark background. Rain mist hangs in the air, softening the edges of the bridge supports while the frozen droplets remain crisp and distinct. The wet concrete of the pier reflects the dim light, creating a stark contrast with the rigid geometry of the steel work above. One droplet catches the light, glowing faintly against the grey steel.
