Striped Shadows on Bridge Walkway Noon Bahrain

Bright noon light slices through the open steel grating, casting sharp, alternating bands of white and charcoal gray across the maintenance walkway. Raindrops bead on the metal surface, creating a slick sheen that reflects the overcast sky. Beside the path, the massive concrete pier rises from the moving water, its gray surface weathered by the early winter drizzle. Converging lines of the railing guide toward a distant vanishing point where the bridge structure disappears into the haze. The rigid geometry of the infrastructure dominates the view against the fluid, gray water below. A small puddle on the grating catches a distorted reflection of the overhead steel beams.
