Dam Spillway White Water Ontario Morning Light

Soft, diffused morning light washes over the massive concrete walls of a spillway in Ontario, where turbulent water churns below. The surface of the concrete is slick with moisture, reflecting the pale gray sky. White foam roils violently at the base, creating a dense, churning mass that contrasts with the smooth, vertical lines of the gray stone. Droplets of water hang suspended in the humid air just above the spray, catching the faint glow of dawn. The perspective looks upward from the ground, showing the height of the structure and the force of the flow. A thin layer of mist rests on the lower corners of the wall, blurring the edge where stone meets the churning river. The wet texture of the concrete shows faint streaks of darker gray running down from the top edge.
