Silhouetted Tetrapods Against Winter Sky

Dark concrete tetrapods line the shore, their geometric forms rendered as stark silhouettes against a heavy, overcast winter sky. Early evening light falls through the gray clouds, backlighting the spray that rises from the churning surf. Massive transmission towers loom in the background, their steel lattice structures framing the coastline with industrial precision. The water crashes against the interlocking shapes, sending fine mist into the air where it catches the dim light. The ground appears wet and slick, reflecting the muted tones of the sky. Sharp edges of the concrete contrast with the chaotic texture of the waves, creating a composition anchored by the rule of thirds. A thin line of white foam rests on the base of the nearest tetrapod.
