Symmetrical Heating Pipe Amidst Monsoon Fog in Nicaragua

Soft gray light falls through a steady monsoon rain, blurring the background beneath massive steel transmission towers. A thick, rust-orange district heating pipe runs horizontally across the center, anchored by a symmetrical concrete support structure. Drifting ground fog swallows the lower legs of the pillars, creating a sharp boundary between the solid infrastructure and the white mist. Raindrops bead on the oxidized metal surface, sliding slowly down the curved texture. The wet concrete shows dark patches where water pools in the crevices. In the distance, the vertical lines of the tower legs fade into the gray haze, showing the scale of the civic installation against the heavy, wet air of the Nicaraguan landscape. One water droplet rests on the edge of a flange before vanishing into the shadow below.
