Steel-blue ambient light floods a windy overpass interchange in Queensland, illuminating a massive concrete sea wall where winter surf crashes against the foundation. White foam sprays upward, momentarily suspended in the air before dissolving into the darkening water below. The sky remains perfectly clear, devoid of clouds, allowing the deep twilight hue to dominate the horizon. Converging lines of the overpass structure guide toward a distant vanishing point, showing the scale of the infrastructure. Textured concrete surfaces show water stains and salt deposits, against the smooth, churning motion of the ocean. One railing bolt glints faintly in the low light near the bottom right corner.
