Dark steel lattice towers march across a wind-swept ridge, their forms reduced to sharp black silhouettes against the fading violet sky. Below, the massive concrete piers of a cable-stayed bridge rise from the ground, anchoring the composition with their heavy, geometric presence. A fine mist rests on the air, catching the last residual light and creating a hazy veil over the textured concrete surfaces. The low angle emphasizes the towering height of the infrastructure, making the metalwork appear to pierce the dimming atmosphere. Sparse, dry grasses in early autumn brown sway near the base of the bridge supports. at the edge is the faint, jagged reflection of a tower tip glinting on a wet patch of pavement in the immediate foreground.
