Silhouetted Seal Through Blue Hole at Dawn

Soft overcast dawn light falls through clear water, illuminating a tide-cut rock ledge in Fukuoka. A seal swims horizontally through a circular blue hole, its dark form silhouetted against the brighter surface above. Silver reflections shimmer across the wet fur where the light strikes the body. Fine plankton haze softens the distant background, creating a layered depth within the underwater column. The water remains still, holding the animal in a moment of suspended motion. Tiny bubbles rest on the rock edge, while the smooth texture of the seal's skin contrasts with the rough, algae-covered stone. The composition rests on the horizontal line of the seal's spine against the vertical drop of the hole.
